I made a top!
It’s a been quite a while since I did an Aussie Day party, but it felt like time to treat my new Londonish friends to all the delights that our little Continent-Island has to offer.
The fact that the 22nd of May marked the start of Chelsea in Bloom had been in my calendar for months, ever since my beady little flora-seeking eyes had noticed it swing by in an email or Instagram ad.
Toronto is kinda wet.

On my third day in Toronto, I took a day trip to Niagara falls.
Once upon a time, there was a young boy who imagined that as he would grow, he would gradually get to see all the place in the world, and meet all of its people, who would become his friends. And so, in the year 2023, that boy (now arguably ‘man’), made his way to a small island, and found indeed that the island already contained both friends and family.
My love of chonky earrings is undeniably inherited from my aunty, on my father’s side. And the love of stained glass is probably linked to her husband, who used to make stained glass art. So let’s call these the Rowe earrings.
