Last week while I was in a lecture about proteins and proteomics, I learnt a new German word! I think it might be my new favourite!

It’s Autumn, which means that, just like last year, it’s time to bring on the gourds! We managed to acquire a couple of Pumpkins from work- (don’t worry, they’re not terrifying Genetically Modified Organisms, and nobody’s been doing experiments on them). I took to work, making my first ever Jack-O-Lantern, admittedly a bit early for the Halloween Season.

I’ve finally found a Berlin flea market to fill the hole in my hoarder’s heart.

There’s so much stuff happening all the time in Berlin.. you just have to have access to someone in the know. Luckily, this time we had Doro.
