Chasing the Eis
So you know that we moved from the one-restaurant-town of Potsdam to the too-many-restaurants-city of Berlin. And of course, the very heavy task of trying allthefoods! has fallen upon us.

A few months ago, one of our pals, Asdrubal, invited us to his place to eat Mexican. I don’t think I posted any photos back then- probably because the food disappeared so quickly that I didn’t have the chance. It was so good, in fact, that we begged him to cook for us one more time- but this time, to show us the ways of the Old Country.
Did you know that the Berlin Tiergarten actually has a rather lovely ‘Rose Garden’ in it?

Just an obsession with all things Les Miserables. Yes that’s right. Call me a hipster if you will, but I. Loved. It. First. You know, back before it was cool.

I read somewhere* that this week is Plant Week.
I thought I’d add to our nest photos with some pictures of our living room.
The Poppies Are Back, The Poppies Are Back!!
If you’re in Leipzig, and you’re a little strapped for cash, the Museum in der Runden Ecke, and the Zeitgeschitliches Forum, are two absolutely free museums that you should definitely check out!
I may have mentioned a couple of times that our new(ish- I guess we’ve been here for 4 months!) flat has a kind of 1/2 room as well as the bedroom and living room, kitchen and bathroom. It’s a kind of Guest Room. A kind of Bob Dylan Room. A kind of Sewing Room. A kind of Storage Room. A kind of Pony Room.
